About me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame. I study the evolution of developmental plasticity, intergenerational effects of adversity, proximate mechanisms underlying early life effects, and social determinants of health and fitness. I received my PhD under the advisement of Joan Silk from the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University in 2021 and completed four years of postdoctoral training at New York University in collaboration with James Higham (NYU), Noah Snyder-Mackler (ASU), and Lauren Brent (University of Exeter).
